All the way from the Languedoc France comes Domaine Croix Belle! Please welcome in these guests to explain their history and help us understand their wines.

Winemakers from father to son, they combine a family know-how of more than two centuries, ensuring the continuity of the culture of the vineyards of the estate La Croix Belle, and the use of modern and efficient winemaking processes, allowing a constant improvement of the quality of their wines. The result is an original and personalized wine that will surprise you; names of cuvee’s revealing the family history, and which should arouse your curiosity; vintages that marry their efforts, passion, and the seasons. Domaine La Croix Belle uses the talents of its entire team to share the pleasure of tasting a great wine together.

 

Caringole Rosé 2017 $14

Pale pink with dark purple tints. Intense on the nose with aromas of fresh roses and hard candies. Slightly acid on the palate, very refreshing and semi-sweet.

 

Caringole Blanc, 2015 $14

Pale yellow with green tints. Expressive on the nose with white fruits (peach, pear) and citrus fruits. Direct attack, aromas of exotic fruits (mango), refreshing and long on the palate. The joyous, dancing sound to the name is in echo to this cuvee’s liveliness and fruitiness. Ideal for the aperitif or to go with meals any time of the year. Half Sauv Blanc/Half Chardonnay.

 

Chardonnay VdP, 2016 $14

This young wine is all magnificent structure. It is intense, with fruit and acidity given richness by the powerful texture and tense tannins. The dense symphony of ripe fruits is kept in check by the structure.

 

Le Champ des Lys Blanc, 2015 $18

The “Champ des Lys” (“Lilies Field”) is a blend of Viognier (50%), Grenache Blanc (20%), Chardonnay (20%) Sauvignon (10%) Golden yellow with brilliant tints. Wonderfully complex aromas on the nose with notes of confit of lemon. A ripe, fleshy wine; long and spicy finish on the palate.

 

Caringole Rouge, 2015, $15

Sustained ruby-red color. Intense on the nose with aromas of small red berries mingled with spices. A delightful wine, velvety with fruity notes of blackcurrant and crushed olives. Pleasant to drink immediately. Syrah (65%), Merlot (20%), Carignan (15%)

 

Syrah VdP 2015, $15

Soft and pretty on the nose with aromas of violet, cassis and sweet spices.
Big and bold on the palate displaying more of the same plus some liquorish and lingering on the finish. It has aromas of sweet spices and soft red fruit and it is bold on the palate.
