“Lu and Oly”, Chardonnay $16
Aromatically, this wine offers pear and traces of pineapple before giving way to a palate of green apple and ripe citrus. The mouthfeel is relatively full and displays richer apple and stone fruit notes. The finish has round, mouthwatering acidity.
“No Love”, Chardonnay $28
Aromas of citrus combine with toast and tree fruit to entice. The palate delivers with lime, Fuji apple, and a touch of tropical. The mouthfeel is luscious, and well-integrated oak notes shine with a bright rush of acidity. A balanced finish provides both warmth and minerality. An easy drinkability now and a potential to develop even more complexity with cellaring.
Viognier $33
From Red Mountain, A fantastic, rich Viognier that offers deep aromatics of tropical and stone fruits, buttered bread, flowers and minerals. Pairs great with desserts! The wine is aged in 4 different formats and is gently stirred to suspend the lees and improve the mouthfeel. The wine is tasted on a weekly basis, and bottles at the exact right moment to insure flavor and drinkability.
“Lu and Oly” Cabernet Sauvignon $25
Aromas of the BlackBerry cherry and raspberry are joined on the pallet with flavors of vanilla, nutmeg, and anise. The full-bodied mouthfeel is balanced by appetizing acidity and a juicy, lingering finish. Mainly a restaurant division of Mark Ryan, Lu and Oly is a big and intense Cab.
“Dissident” Red $39
Some of Washington State’s finest vineyards have provided fruit for the 2017 The Dissident. The Dissident is a wine that we create to complement the Dead Horse and Long Haul. People sometimes think The Dissident is made up of wines that don’t make the cut in the final blends of the Dead Horse and Long Haul, which couldn’t be further from the truth. The same vineyards, barrels and attention to detail go into crafting The Dissident, as go into every wine in the Mark Ryan program. The wine is aged for 18 months in 60% new French oak.
“Lost Soul” Syrah $50
The Lost Soul is a single vineyard representation of Red Willow Syrah and embodies the cooler side of Syrah. It presents a darker, more savory quality. The wine is aged in thick staved 500L French oak barrels. The wine was aged for an extended period of 30 months in 20% new, 500 liter French oak barrels.
