Sacrebleu!
Campuget, Viognier, Southern Rhone Valley $22
It exhibits a floral bouquet with pinches of honeysuckle, apricot, orange, marmalade, and pineapple. Medium-bodied, generously fruity but balanced and structured, it owes its freshness and precision to the happy acidity.
JM Brocard, Bourgogne Blanc “Kimmeridgian”, Chablis, Burgundy $22
Kimmeridgian is a type of soil made of limestone and marl, often containing fossils. Kimmeridgian is abundant in the Northernmost Burgundy area, Chablis. 100% Chardonnay. On the nose; aromas of citrus and orange blossom. A very pure palate; with delicate notes of mandarin; a fresh wine with a very beautiful mineral energy.
Chateau Miniere, Bourgueil, Loire Valley $22
This classic Bourgueil is 100% Cabernet Franc. Notes of earth, cherries, and plum with wonderful brambley-stemminess. What a wonderful example of a Loire Valley red. Dark and brooding with a French attitude…
Chateau la Caminade, Cahors, Cahors $21
From the south west in the Cahors region. Mostly Malbec with a slice of luscious Merlot, This one pours a garnet color with with earthy blackberry and plum aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied, fresh and tannic with a hint of minerality.
