@ Humble Vine

August, 31st

2-9 PM

Wine Tasting: $15

Here’s the line up!

Finn Hill, Pinot Gris, Le Fantome Blanc, Columbia Valley   $21

“The White Ghost” presents a dry, fruity minerality to the nose, recalling sliced melons, honeysuckle, and crushed gravel. A small sip is met with flavors that echo Granny Smith apple, lemons, kiwi fruit, and white peach. This wine is crisp and clean.

Grosgrain, Chardonnay, French Creek Vineyard, Yakima.    $30

French Creek Vineyard, Yakima Valley. Oak and toast on the nose give way to more subtlety on the palate. This leaves room for notes of lemon curd, white flowers, yellow apple and hazelnut. Barrel fermented in French Oak (32% new puncheon). Aged on the lees for extra creaminess.

Latta Wines, Kind Stranger Cabernet, Columbia Valley  $18

Looking in the glass you find a deep plum color that stays true in the light. The nose has cherry, pepper, cinnamon and fig. The oak leads gently to a bright black cherry, blackberry, raisin, plum and raspberry notes. Pretty and solid.

Terra Blanca, Triple Threat, Red Mountain   $21

It opens with vibrant aromas of black cherry and plum with hints of raspberry, dried currants, cedar and peppery spice. On the palate, dark cherry, lush plum and blackberry with notes of blueberry, raspberry and spice lead to an extended smooth finish. Well-integrated fine tannins throughout help in showing the power and grace of the vineyard.
