Special Winery Tasting : Leony’s Cellar

Our weekly Wednesday tasting is getting a special guest this week. Leony’s Cellar from Cashmere, WA will be serving wines direct from the winemaker!

Salvador, from Leony's Cellars, will be joining us to present his award winning wines!!!! Leony's Cellars is a boutique winery located in Cashmere, Washington. 

Family owned and operated, Salvador and his wife Sandi purchased Voila Vineyards and Winery in 2014. The previous owner helped teach them how to turn the land into wine. They continued their studies at the wine makers academy of South Seattle, and really honed their style. When this married team started crafting outstanding wines they immediately received praise and awards for their craft. 

We will showcase 5 amazing selections fro their portfolio.

“The Hunt” Gewurtztraminer $27

Grown in Rattlesnake Hills.  Crisp flavors of Lychee, citrus and applesauce. 

“Refined Intentions” Dolcetto $32

Black cherry, licorice and prune notes with a bitter almond finish.

“Ascendance” Cabernet Franc $32

Grown in Benton City, Yakima Valley AVA. 95% Cabernet Franc, 5% Syrah. Fruit forward with dark fruit flavors of blackberry, plum, and dark cherry. 

“Little Instigator” Red Blend $29

Cabernet Franc, Petit Sirah, Grenache, and Dolcetto blend. Red fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, smooth rich tannins, medium, and great acidity. 

“Sultry Coffee” Port Style $42

Barbera fortified with brandy and infused with 6% cold-brew Sumatra coffee.  The first thing you smell is fresh brewed coffee, on the palate is chocolate raspberries and coffee.
