Conte D’Atticus-Maniago, Pinot Grigio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia $24
Straw yellow color. The characteristic, elegant and intense bouquet is rich in oak, walnut husk, yellow peaches and golden apples. Harmonious and sophisticated with marked yeasty hints acquired by maturation "sur lies". The wine is lively on the palate where it becomes full and velvety with very persistent ripe fruit flavors, supported by a pleasant crispness.
Tornatore, Etna Bianco, Sicily $27
The Etna Bianco is born from the skillful vinification of the white grape vines Carricante, cultivated in volcanic soils with a high vocation and arranged in terraces at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level, in the northern slope of the volcano. Straw yellow colored wine with light green shadow that offers mineral notes with menthol scents typical of high wines, green apple with primary aromas characteristic of the variety.
Brecciarolo, Rosso Piceno Superiore, Marche $19
Ruby red color with garnet hues. The nose results intense with notes of red fruits, fresh violet flowers and spices. On the palate it is persistent, aromatic and full-bodied. It keeps all the aromas felt at the nose. It can be defined as a charismatic and distinct wine. 70% Montepulciano, 30% Sangiovese
Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Tuscany $29
A powerful red, with savory eucalyptus, tobacco and tomato leaf aromas and flavors offset by cherry and plum notes. Beefy tannins set the stage for a lingering, grainy finish.. In the glass it has intense garnet red reflections. On the nose, aromas of red berries, cherry and pomegranate and the unmistakable violet scent of Sangiovese. In the background a touch of vanilla and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is well balanced and ripe cherry and plum return, supported by a dense tannic texture. The body is warm, ethereal and enveloping with a long and persistent finish.
