Sacre bleu! Four Fantastic French wines! 1 white and 3 reds to warm our bones. Let’s start with  a tasty grape, Jacquère, from Savoie with a unique aging in clay amphora, Then to a classic Cabernet dominate Bordeaux, Then to 2 bold Southern Rhone wines, one Cotes du Rhone, then to the region of Vacqueyras.

Fabien Trosset, Sous Le Roc “Apremont”      Savoie France     $26

‘Le Roc’ is 100% Jacquère, a white grape that is actually the most widely planted grape in the region of Savoie. Each grape is hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks. They are then aged on lees for 8 months, 80% in stainless steel tanks and 20% in Tava amphoras (terracotta clay pots made for aging wine). This white wine is very fresh with notes of lemon, citrus, minerality, and some nuttiness.

Chateau Parenchere, BDX Rouge “Raphael” $25

The flagship wine of Chateau de Parenchère, the Cuvée Raphaël, is a dense, concentrated wine with elegant tannins and a mellow and smooth finish. The wine is elegantly woody but not excessively to leave plenty of room for the fruit. A juicy red with plum and berry character, medium body and soft, attractive tannins60% Cabernet Sauvignon/40% Merlot from old vines 40 years old on average. Aging in oak barrels from the Tronçais forest for 14 months

Brunel, Bois ds la Vill Cotes du Rhone, Southern Rhone Valley France $22

Grenache grapes that are vinified in purity and come mainly from a single plot located just north of Orange. Intense aromas of plum, blackberry, black cherry, hints of leather and smoky notes. In the mouth, it is dry and acidic with a perfectly balanced body and elegant tannins.

Mas des Reatanques, Vacqueyras , Southern Rhone Valley France  $34

The southern Rhône Valley is home to the endearing Vacqueyras appellation. This is a red wine that is full-bodied, visibly dark in color with ample fruit on the palate that will please many. The vines are planted on limestone soils which gives this wine more structure and minerals. Unoaked and fermented with natural yeasts.

Time: 2pm - 8pm or until the bottles run dry!
