Then we land in northern France to taste wild array of unique flavors and super cool finds. Leave it to Megan to Blow our Minds!!!!

Come and get in, where ya fit in!!!! @ Humble Vine, Wednesday Sept. 26th 4pm-8pm!

Sergio Arcuri, 'Il Marinetto' Gaglioppo Rose 2016

Il Marinetto is a beautiful deep pink, smells and tastes of citrus peel and strawberries, and has a mouthwatering combination of rich flavor, freshness and a salty tang. This with salmon or roast chicken would be pure pleasure.

Daniel Vergnes, Tursan "Les Pentes De Barene" 2016

Rich and ample, the Tursan finishes clean and focused as fleshy pear and apricot fruit mingle with suggestions of ginger and beeswax, all lifted and brightened by a salty mineral undercurrent. 48% Gros Manseng, 40% Petit Manseng, and 3% Sauvignon Blanc

Domaine Pignier, Crémant du Jura,
A chalky mousse, expansive in the mouth with fresh citrus flavors. It has an underlying chalky minerality overlaid with brioche notes that develop on the finish. A fresh acidity keeps it in balance.

Les Terres Blanches Gamay de Bouze "Pot d'Vache" 2016

Brisk, peppery, and soil-driven on the palate, the Gamay de Bouze reveals layers of black fruits accented by hints of morel mushrooms, licorice, black tea, and appetizing herbal notes. Finishing spicy and peppery, the wine reprises chewy licorice notes alongside firm tannins and smokiness.

Domaine de la Biscarelle, C & J Grieco, Vignerons “Debut d’une Histoire” Cinsault.

An exceptional wine from very old Cinsault vines in the northern part of Chateauneuf du pape. The fruit character is exceptionally dark, sleek and pure. A soft, floral and vivacious style, and kept lively with a balanced acidity. Grrrrrooowwlll…

Arnold Lambert, Saumur Rouge Clos Mazurique, Saumur Loire

Smooth and peppery, this Cab Franc is bold and vibrant. There is a silky, tobacco quality that combines well with all of the explosive black fruit. The wine tastes even better on day two when the tannin relaxes and all that is left is the exposed, raw richness of fruit that comes to the center weaving in and out with perfect acidity on a solid structure. 100 percent de-stemmed Cab Franc aged in concrete. This wine was written up in the New York Times!! You gotta check out Arnolds wines….
