@ Humble Vine, Wednesday July 10th 4PM

Tilia, Torrontes, Argentina, $12

The Tilia wines are made at Bodegas Esmeralda in the Eastern region of Mendoza. They are made by Leopoldo Kuschnaroff, a winemaker and viticulturist in charge of all "Catena Family" vineyards in Eastern Mendoza. Torrontes is indigenous to Argentina and has a unique profile that has quickly made it the country's signature white grape.

J Scott, Viognier, Rogue Valley Oregon $19

The fruit for this 100% Viognier is sourced from the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon. Aged primarily in stainless steel with a touch of oak, this wine is lush and beautifully aromatic with flavors of peach, pear and notes of fresh flowers. This one is sooo banging good.

Cigarra, Red Tinto, Lisboa Portugal, $12

A blend of four Portuguese varieties. Medium to full bodied, full of ripe red fruits, rich dried berry flavors, and attractive spicy acidity. Cigarra prides itself on its affinity for the many stellar (albeit sometimes internationally obscure) indigenous varietals of Portugal.

1851 Cellars, Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley Washington, $14

A collaboration between Milbrandt and Wahluke Wine Company. The wines were created in honor of Washington state and the great city of Seattle, which was founded in 1851. Dark Rainier Cherries, blueberry and black berry compote, peppers, baking spice, and coffee on the nose. Rich black raspberry and cherry, subtle tannins, silky texture with gentle peppercorn notes on the palate. Pair with roasts, stew, BBQ in any fashion.

Lu and Oly, Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley Washington $25

Aromas of the BlackBerry cherry and raspberry are joined on the pallet with flavors of vanilla, nutmeg, and anise. The full-bodied mouthfeel is balanced by appetizing acidity and a juicy, lingering finish. Mainly a restaurant division of Mark Ryan, Lu and Oly is a big and intense Cab.
