@ Humble Vine, FIRST FRIDAY July 5th

5pm…

Borgo Alato, Prosecco, Italy, $11

Pale light-yellow color, delicate and complex bouquet with fruity notes reminiscent of peach and green apple, there are also good secondary notes of acacia and lilac. Fresh and light on the palate with balanced acidity.

Le Ballon, White, Pays d’Oc France, $12

This cool wine is half Vermentino, and half Sauvignon Blanc from the Southwest of France. Light citrus nose. Medium body, high acidity, big citrus, grapefruit, cumquat, and pear. Finishes clean and smooth

Christopher Michael, Red Blend, Columbia Valley Washington $14

In the mouth, this wine shows concentration and weight. Flavors of cherry cola, plums, cinnamon, and dark chocolate coat the mouth as the tannins take hold and add dimension and structure to the wine. This wine shows good balance in the long finish. A Crazy blend of 54% Syrah, 20% Barbera, 10% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec, 3% Grenache!

High Note, Andes Red Blend, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina $13

Intense nose with Malbec traces of ripe, sweet plum and blackberry laced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah spice fragrances. Barrel aging provides further complexity with delicate oak and vanilla flavors. This unctuous and jammy wine is ideal with BBQ’s, honey glazed pork, grilled sirloin steak, or with orange sauce. Blend: 70% Malbec, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah
