Ardechois, Rose, Rhone France $21
50/50 Grenache and Caldoc, a hybrid grape made from a cross between Grenache and Malbec, all from 30+ year old organic vines, hand harvested and direct pressed to steel where it ages for 6 months. Classic southern French rose, bone dry with red berries and crushed flowers. You should probably buy two bottles, just to be safe.
Alexandrins, Viognier, Rhone France $19
Superb bright color with golden undertones. This Viognier offers a rich aromatic bouquet with exotic notes. The nose shows a magnificent bouquet of aromas of white peaches and citrus fruit. On the palate, it shows balance and freshness, thanks to a beautiful acidity. A very seductive wine.
Domaine Rochette, “Regnie” Cru Beaujolais, Beaujolais France $23
Regnie, the prince of Crus, nestled between the renowned Morgon and Brouilly vineyards. This full-bodied, rich wine boasts enticing aromas of currant and raspberry, ripe currant and raspberry, supported by a silky-smooth texture and elegant, well-integrated tannins.
Paul Jaboulet, Cotes du Rhone “Paralel 45”, Rhone France $21
This Cotes du Rhone takes its name from the 45th North parallel Northern style Côtes du Rhône, with beautiful fresh Syrah character. Notes of wild berries, white pepper, lavender and cherries. This balanced red finishes with incredibly juicy Grenache love.
