Wine Tasting: $20
Cascina Alba Terra, 'Il Frissante' Soave, Italy $22
Crafted from the grape Garganega, this sparkling wine has a short maceration on the skins, is fermented with its own yeasts, and is not clarified or filtered. Finally, it is re-fermented with grape must, like simple wines "of the past" were. Notes of soft pear and lemon cream make this all-natural Pet-Nat expressive.
Ercole, Piedmonte Rosato, Piedmont Italy $19
This vibrant Rosato is a blend of classic Piedmont grape varieties of Barbera and Dolcetto. Fresh aromas of raspberry, ruby watermelon and citrus. Pleasantly fleshy with nice focus in the red berry fruits and rounded finish.
Terenzuola, Vermentino Fosso di Corsano, Liguria, Italy $29
The Vermentino Colli di Luni Fosso di Corsano is a little richer and more fruit-driven in style than run of the mill Vermentino. On the nose it expresses saline and mineral, with notes of citrus, honey and fresh herbs. The citrus and honey notes carry over to the palate and ends with a crisp, mineral driven finish.
Natale Vergas, Barolo, Piedmont Italy $35
100% Nebbiolo grapes sourced in Barolo. With each sip, you'll be transported to a picturesque autumn landscape, where the scent of fallen leaves mingles seamlessly with the vibrant notes of cranberries. Layers of flavor unfold like a walk through a forest, revealing nuances of briars, cassis, brambles, a hint of mocha, and the subtle embrace of black tea.
