March is Washington wine month! For our second week we will try an array of great wine makers and wines! Let us try a bold Sauvignon Blanc from Efeste, A supple Rose from Dunham, a wild Red Blend from Dichotomy, and a deep Red Blend from Eternal Wines. Woo hoo for Washington!

Efeste, “Feral” Sauvignon Blanc     Columbia Valley, Washington   $24

This wine opens with subtle citrus notes, featuring pineapple and a touch of seasonal melon. The mouthfeel is well-structured with excellent length, delivering a zesty and bold finish. The combination of barrel and stainless steel fermentation enhances the wine’s balanced acidity and adds depth to its structure.Vibrant citrus and minerality on the lengthy finish.

Dunham Cab Franc Rosé,  Columbia Valley, Washington $22

Very light in color despite 2 red grapes in the blend. Opens with tantalizing aromas of wild strawberry, key lime zest, white nectarine, and jasmine. Refreshing flavors of passion fruit, raspberry, and honeydew melon are accented with a beautiful streak of minerality. 75% Cabernet Franc, 25% Syrah, Aged in 85% stainless steel and 15% neutral French oak puncheons.

Dichotomy, Estate Erebus Red Blend       Yakima Valley, Washington    $25

Dichotomy Vineyards is a relatively new winery established in 2021 by winemakers Jarred Jenner and Rosie Signer-Jenner. Originally based in McLaren Vale, South Australia, the winery has since moved to Yakima. It is characterized by spicy and savory notes. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sangiovese, and Nebbiolo aged for 12 months in French and American oak.

Eternal Wines- Drink WA State, “Escape To Columbia Valley” Red Blend  Columbia Valley, Washington $30

From eternal wines. They like to showcase each region of Washington using this “Drink WA Wines” Label. This Cab based wine from the Columbia Valley has lots of dark fruit on the nose. Black cherry, blueberry, and fresh blackberry. The palate shows licorice, cacao and blueberry and graphite. Good tannins and acids. Blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot.

Time: 2pm - 8pm or until the bottles run dry!
