Flaco, Blanco, Spain 2016 $10

100% Viura. Pale straw. Lemon pith, green apple and orchard fruit are framed by a touch of floral tone and mineral notes on the nose. On the palate, bright but weighty, with good persistence to the juicy apple and pear fruit. Finishes dry and clean.

Seamonster, Eclectic White, Central Coast California $18

This bottling is adorned with one of the prettiest and most interesting label designs on the market right now. Tropical aromas of pineapple, jasmine and ripe white peach are leveled by squeezed tangerine and orange-blossom scents. Lime juice shows first on the sip, followed by waves of kiwi, green papaya and a touch of mango. MMMMMMM!!!

Sand Point Pinot, Lodi California $13

An immediately approachable wine, offering aromas and flavors of dense ripe strawberry and cherry cola. With French and American Oak aging, there is a hint of soft spice that melds into the opening notes, creating a smooth and balanced wine that is easy to enjoy.

Bodega Garzon, Cab Franc, Uruguay 2016 $19

Color is purple and intense and has violet reflections. This noble red wine has mineral aromas coming from ripe peppers, spices and fruits of the forest accompanied by a subtle chocolate note and smoked hints coming from selected barrels. It has an impacting mouth with nice tannins, mixing prunes and ripe blackberries with fresh eucalyptus and mint notes that make it very complex.

El Enemigo Malbec, Mendoza Argentina, 2014 $22

Rich and concentrated, this wine offers aromas of black fruit, cherry and dark berry fruit on the nose followed on the palate by a full-bodied wine with flavors of spice, blackberry, black cherry, pepper and a slight floral character. The finish is elegant and lengthy.

Flying Trout, Scootney Flats Malbec, Red Mountain 2012 $35

Malbec from Scootney Flats Vineyard, Red Mountain. Gorgeous aromas of rose hips, black cherry, blueberry and white pepper led into a graceful presentation on the palate of the same descriptors. Those lush berries and well-managed tannins make for a bright, juicy and long mouth feel.
